(Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)
I have finally released this score that I wrote over the course of 2018. It was probably the worst year of my life when I wrote it, (someone had died, I had moved to Berlin and stopped leaving the house). I’d worked on some episodic series before, but never a short film. My first solo album 'Precipice had come out the year prior and I had learned how to write for strings on that project, originally using a ripped Spitfire sample collection of cellos and violins.
This soundtrack really forced me to grow as a cinematic composer and orchestral arranger very fast. When I look back there are a lot of things I would change (especially the amount of tremolo), but I’m so grateful to all the amazing musicians who helped me bring it to life. Something we do a lot when there is no budget for an orchestra is just layering the same musician over and over in different spots of a studio. The incredible violinist on this project is Anita Clark a.k.a ‘Motte’ - who also played on Precipice - and some of the vocals were recorded at Funkhaus with a bunch of really beautiful singers as part of RBMA, including Angel Deradoorian from Dirty Projectors. If you like dark tense cinematic droney/build-up Philip Glass-rhythms stuff this might be one for you. It’s under my real name - Indira Force.
I must go now and record some harp on one of the most beautiful songs by this glorious artist, Sheep, Dog & Wolf.

Ps. I would love to share the album with you by now, but due to financial reasons I had to postpone the mastering session. I am in the process of acquiring funding for it, so fingers crossed it happens! Thank you to the real ones who reached out, I hope to send you the record as soon as it is mastered.
